I absolutely love this quote here so for a little fun Friday post I decided to do a game of “I’d rather” on the blog today. Here goes..

I’d rather have a Diet Coke than a Pepsi.
I’d rather watch Netflix than watch cable tv.
I’d rather use an Apple computer over a PC.
I’d rather wear colors any day of the week than anything beige. 
I’d rather drink iced coffee than hot coffee.
I’d rather eat breakfast than any other meal of the day.
I’d rather use a Canon camera vs. a Nikon
I’d rather use my iPhone camera to take pictures than anything else.
I’d rather draw pretty things for lovely people than spend my day doing anything else. 
I also created this hand-lettered quote that I thought went perfect with my Outfit of the day!

Artist Mama

Being an Artist Mama…
I came up with this “title” for myself a couple months back. It basically categorizes how I see myself daily. 
I am an artist. I am a mama. Therefore I am an Artist Mama. 
I’m sure there are lots of moms out there who feel like your creative life evolved when you became a mother.
Mine certainly did. There is a whole new soul to learn and teach. My son teaches me things all the time and he is so interested in learning about creating it makes me so proud. Creativity to me is always going to be a part of our daily routine. Experimenting with colors, shapes, lines and textures is all part of the fun. I have been contemplating doing a little kiddy class where kids can experiment, learn and grow creatively.
