Lately I have been fascinated with these lovely Floral Crowns.

I decided to make my own with silk flowers and wire. 

I think these would look so beautiful in a field of wildflowers 

and a little girl jumping and dancing while the wind blows her hair. 

Creating this crown was very simple and I am planning on posting a tutorial for you all in the near future.

She is an amazing woman.

When I think about who she is to me I can not 

pick only one word so here is a list.

My mother in a nutshell. 

She is caring. Loving. Courageous. Strong. Independent.

Beautiful. Adventurous. Has the best laugh. She is an amazing Grandma. Nurse.

Great with flowers. She is a knitter. Seamstress. 

Sister. Dreamer. Idea lover. Creator. Brave. Zen. 

She is everything I dream to be. 

We have been brainstorming for months about business ideas. 

She is the knitter and I am the painter. 

Now the best part about my mom is how much she loves my DaVinci.

They are buddies. She takes DaVinci for walks and gives him way too many treats (as Nana’s do). 

They have a bond that only a grandma and grandson will understand. 

She is always there for DaVinci and I and we are entirely grateful. 

We love you Nana.
