A look at 2015

I remember making a list at the end of 2014 of goals I wanted to accomplish in 2015.
Here is a look at all of the goals that I did accomplish in 2015.

# 1: I graduated from College! I am officially a college graduate from SMSU with my Bachelor of Science: Marketing and  minor in Advertising Design Communications. This is a huge accomplishment for me because I want to show DaVinci anything is possible if you set your mind to it.

# 2: I photographed THREE weddings! This wasn’t one of my goals that I had set out to do but I feel like it is a big accomplishment and was so much fun!

# 3: I taught a Hand-Lettering class to 4-8th graders at the Young Artist’s Conference at Southwest Minnesota State University. Sharing my gifts is one of my life goals so teaching these students was a great way for me to do that. You can read more about that here and still download my cheat sheet to start practicing your Hand Lettering!

#4: I participated in TWO Art Fair’s and actually sold my K. Rose Studio products!

#6: Most recently I purchased a home. That was a large goal of mine. Once I decided that I wanted to make my hometown my forever home for myself and DaVinci purchasing a home for us to grow and make our own was a big To Do of mine.newyear_home

#7: I traveled to San Francisco & New York this year! These were big eye-openers for me. Attending the Martha Stewart American Made Summit was a big game changer for me. It has helped me focus on my goals and really narrow down my purpose in life. Traveling with my mom is also a huge favorite of mine:)newyear_newyork

#8. DaVinci turned three and is in Pre-School! My son turning three isn’t really a goal more of a milestone in our lives. He is learning new words daily and is such an inspiration.newyear_givingback

Those are some of my goals that I accomplished in 2015. As this year comes to a close I look back and all I can do is say Thank You to all who helped make this year great! I want to thank all of my clients who made this blog so lively with sneak peek from photo shoots, my parents for always believing in me and helping me follow my dreams, my friends and co-workers for always supporting my crazy ideas and my son who is my inspiration and motivation!
Thank you everyone & Happy New Year.
Cheers to 2016
